【摘要】:Framedfloorandroofsystemsaretestedbythistestmethodforstaticshearcapacity.Thistestmethodwillhelpdeterminestructuraldiaphragmpropertiesneededfordesignpurposes.1.1Thistestmethodcoversproceduresdesigned(1)toevaluatethestaticshearcapacityofatypicalsegmentofaframeddiaphragmundersimulatedloadingconditions,and(2)toprovideadeterminationofthestiffnessoftheconstructionanditsconnections.Adiaphragmconstructionisanassemblyofmaterialsdesignedtotransmitshearforcesintheplaneoftheconstruction.1.2Noefforthasbeenmadetospecifythetestapparatus,asthereareanumberthatcanbeusedaslongastheneedsofthetestingagencyaremet.Ifround-robintestingistobeconducted,testapparatusandtestingproceduresshallbemutuallyagreeduponinadvancebytheparticipants.1.3Thetextofthisstandardcontainsnotesandfootnotesthatprovideexplanatoryinformationandarenotrequirementsofthestandard.Notesandfootnotesintablesandfiguresarerequirementsofthisstandard.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeSection6.
