【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesgenericcablingthatsupportsawiderangeofcommunicationsservicesincludingautomation,processcontrolandmonitoringapplicationsforusewithinindustrialpremisesorindustrialareaswithinothertypesofpremises,comprisingsingleormultiplebuildingsonacampus.Itcoversbalancedcablingandopticalfibrecabling.ThisstandardisbaseduponandreferencestherequirementsofISO/IEC11801.Itcontainsadditionalrequirementsthatareappropriatetoindustrialpremisesinwhichthemaximumdistanceoverwhichcommunicationsserviceshavetobedistributedis10000m.TheprinciplesofthisInternationalStandardmayalsobeappliedtoinstallationsthatdonotfallwithinthisrange.InadditiontotherequirementsofISO/IEC11801,thisInternationalStandardspecifiesa)amodifiedstructureandconfigurationforgenericcablingwithinindustrialpremisesinwhichinformationtechnologyapplicationsareusedtosupportprocessmonitoringandcontrolfunctions,b)implementationoptions,c)additionalrequirementsthatreflecttherangeofoperatingenvironmentswithinindustrialpremises.Safety(electricalsafetyandprotection,fire,etc.)andelectromagneticcompatibility(EMC)requirementsareoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandardandarecoveredbyotherstandardsandregulations.However,informationgiveninthisdocumentmaybeofassistanceinmeetingthesestandardsandregulations.

【摘要】:ThispracticeprovidesgeneralprinciplesfortheapplicationoftheTime-of-FlightDiffractionTechniqueasatoolfordetectionandsizingofdiscontinuities.TOFDisanondestructiveultrasonicexaminationtechniquethatisnotbasedonamplituderesponse.However,sufficientsensitivityisrequiredtoidentifyindicationsforevaluation.Techniquesusedaretypicallyappliedtoweldedjointsincarbonsteelbuttheprinciplesmaybeapplicabletootherapplicationsincludingothermaterialswithsuitablevalidationproceduresagreeabletothecontractingparties.Inadditiontoastand-aloneultrasonicdetectiontechniqueTOFDmaybeusedinconjunctionwithweldexaminationssuchasthosedescribedinPracticesE164andE1961whereitmaybeusedtoimprovesizingestimatesofflawsdetectedbythemanualormechanizedpulse-echotechniquesandhelpdiscriminatebetweenflawsandgeometricreflectors.Thetechniquehasproveneffectiveonthicknessesfrom9to300mm(0.375to12in.).TOFDhasbeenusedonthicknessesoutsideofthisrangebutspecialconsiderationsarenecessary.Techniquesdevelopedoutsideofthisrangeofthicknessshallbedemonstratedascapableofmeetingtherequireddetectionandsizingrequirementsofthespecificationused.1.1ThispracticeestablishestherequirementsfordevelopingultrasonicexaminationproceduresusingtheultrasonictechniqueknownasTime-of-FlightDiffraction(TOFD).1.2ConsistentwithASTMPolicy,TOFDmayberegardedasanultrasonictestmethodwherebythequalitiesandcharacteristicsoftheitemtestedareevaluated,measuredandinsomecasesidentified.Measurementsmaybesubjecttoprecisionandbiasthatmaybedeterminedstatisticallyorasafunctionofsomeparameter(s)suchaswavelength.Thispracticemaybeusedforapplicationsthatwouldbequalitativeandproperlyaddressedasexaminationsaswellasquantitativeandmoreproperlyaddressedastests.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Inch-poundunitsareprovidedforinformation.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
