【摘要】:Thisstandardcoversphysicalrequirementsandtestmethodsforperformancerequirementsofmaterialsandworkmanship,andfinishofplasticbathtuborshowerunitswithorwithoutwallsmanufacturedintegralwiththebathtuborshower;orasamulti-pieceunitdistributedaspartofthebathtuborshowerunit.Suchproductsshallmeettherequirementsasoutlinedinthisstandard.Whilethisstandardcoverstheperformancerequirementsofplasticbathtuborshowerunitsanddescribestheseperformancerequirementsintermsofmethodsoftestapplicabletoallsuchunits,anumberofdifferentmaterialsandmethodsofmanufactureshallbepermittedtobeusedtomeettheserequirements.Eachofthesematerialsandmethodshavedifferentpropertieswhichwillaffectitsendperformanceandsuitabilityfortheintendeduse.Forthisreason,portionsofthestandardarebrokenintoseparatemrequirementsdesignedtoidentifytheseindividualcharacteristics.Thematerialsandequipmentwhicharelistedashavingbeenusedtoconductthetestingproceduresinthisstandardareprovidedsolelyforinformationalreference.Materialsandequipmentofsimilardesign,compositionandspecificationshallonlybeusedtoconductthesetestingprocedureswhentheyproduceequivalentresults.
