【摘要】:TheBrinellhardnesstestisanindentationhardnesstestthatcanprovideusefulinformationaboutmetallicmaterials.Thisinformationmaycorrelatetotensilestrength,wearresistance,ductility,orotherphysicalcharacteristicsofmetallicmaterials,andmaybeusefulinqualitycontrolandselectionofmaterials.Brinellhardnesstestsareconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,andhavebeenusedextensivelyinindustryforthispurpose.Brinellhardnesstestingataspecificlocationonapartmaynotrepresentthephysicalcharacteristicsofthewholepartorendproduct.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheBrinellhardnessofmetallicmaterialsbytheBrinellindentationhardnessprinciple.ThisstandardprovidestherequirementsforaBrinelltestingmachineandtheproceduresforperformingBrinellhardnesstests.1.2Thisstandardincludesadditionalrequirementsinfourannexes:
