【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationestablishessafetyperformancerequirements,testmethods,andlabelingrequirementstominimizethehazardstoinfantspresentedbyswingsasidentifiedintheintroduction.1.2Thisconsumersafetyspecificationisintendedtominimizetheriskofinjuriestoinfantsresultingfromnormaluseandreasonablyforeseeablemisuseorabuseofinfantswings.Itisnotintendedtoaddressallincidentsandinjuriesresultingfromtheinteractionofotherpersonswiththeinfantintheswing.1.3Noswingproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisconsumersafetyspecificationshall,eitherbylabelorothermeans,indicatecompliancewiththisspecificationunlessitconformstoallrequirementscontainedherein.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisconsumersafetyspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
