【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthegeneralsafetyrequirementsforelectricarcfurnaces(EAF)tomeltsteelnotcontainingradioactivematerial.ThisEuropeanStandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventspertinenttoEAF,whenusedasintendedandunderconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer,butalsoincludesforeseeablefaultsandmalfunctionsincaseofmisuse.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesalsocriteriafortheplantandequipmentintegratedintheproductionprocess.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestherequirementstoensurethesafetyofpersonswhicharetobemetduringthedesign,assembly,transport,commissioning,operation,maintenanceanddecommissioningoftheequipment.ThisEuropeanStandardassumesthatinstallationsareoperatedandmaintainedbyadequatelytrainedandcompetentpersonnel.Manualinterventionforsetting,adjustmentandmaintenanceisacceptedaspartofthenormaluseoftheequipment.ThisEuropeanStandardcoversthefollowingequipment(seeAnnexB):?EAFwithACtechnology(alternatingcurrent);?EAFwithDCtechnology(directcurrent);?scrappre-heatingtechnology;?associatedequipment/devicesaccordingAnnexB.ThefollowingequipmentisnotcoveredbythisEuropeanStandard:?inductionfurnace;?resistance-arcfurnace;?electronbeamfurnace;?plasmafurnace;?otherelectricalfurnacesusedinsecondarysteelmaking.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifysafetyrequirementsforthefollowingequipment,whichcanbeanintegralorcomplementarypartoftheequipmentcoveredbytheScope:a)cranes;b)scrapbasket;c)transportcarforscrapbasket;d)elephanthouse(furnaceencasingforenvironmentalreasons);e)separatescrapdryingequipment.
